The Police STAR Fund is an annual call run by the Office of the Police Chief Scientific Adviser (OPCSA) which aims to stimulate local innovation and encourage collaboration to solve science and technology problems within policing.
The Police STAR Fund is the only innovation programme for policing, by policing. Since taking over the fund in 2021, OPCSA has provided 80 projects with a total of more than £11 million, covering a range of policing challenges.
Our 2024 Police STAR Fund Showcase and Networking Event will be an opportunity for Police STAR Fund Projects to discuss their work, both with current and previous cohorts and with members of the wider police science and technology system. It is an opportunity to share, learn and network.
The event will take place on the 4th July at the National Space centre in Leicester.
